Hello today I will be instructing how put together a uncompleted board.
First grab your deck and grip-tape, you’ll need a knife or scissors for these first instructions. now pull back the seal on the grip-tape and apply the grip-tape to the top of your board ,if you get air bubbles its okay just make a small slit into the bubble and smooth it out with a credit card or something flat, once you’re done smoothing out your tape, cut off any excess tape hanging from your board.
Now we move to the next steps of completing your board, Next grab your trucks and bolts+nuts , now when placing your trucks on your board you must make sure the bolt on the trucks is facing inwards of the board, now secure it on there tightly with a Philips screw driver . make sure your trucks are not moving at all when you check to see if they are secure if they are moving around it means you either forgot a screw or didn’t tighten it enough.
Now that you have your trucks on we move onto putting your bearings in your wheels, when putting on your bearings be aware that each wheel takes two bearings and a spacer in between them, once you have done this to all four wheels you may put them on the end of your trucks now, now when putting on the nut for your wheels make sure they are on but not fully touching the wheel, if you tighten the nut to much it will create resistance when you ride so make sure your nut is not interfering with your wheels, now that you have your wheels on go test out your new ride(outside) .
Finally now that your board is complete if it is to difficult for you to turn ,loosen your truck bolt, located on the bottom of the board towards the center and if you are able to turn with little to no ease then that means you have to tighten the bolt on your trucks. other than that your board is complete and thank you for viewing my instructions on how to complete a board. Enjoy Your Riding Experience!!!
