What type of board should I buy if I want to do tricks or just cruise

If your like me then your going to want to get a long-board, I have a semi busy schedule every week so having a long-board that can reach high speeds and keep that speed for the distance is very helpful. But it all also depends where you live and how the terrain is, in my town/towns there is a bike path that can take you through four towns with no stopping. Most places do not have things like this so depending where you live decides whether you should get a long board or a skate board.I choose a long board cause I feel like I have more control, the only reason I would get a skateboard is because I like the design it has or because I want to start learning tricks other than that skateboards are small and compact for easy grab and go. but if none of those work for you and you live in a big town with many streets, i advise you to get a penny board because it doesn’t take much space on the side walk and can fit in most back packs.
